Crosbie’s killer unmasked?

Anna says she isn’t to blame for the prospector’s death… but who is?

-

After being accused of killing Crosbie Wells and stealing his gold at the start of this period drama, Anna Wetherell has been trying to clear her name.

Ever since Crosbie stumbled into his wife Lydia’s establishment with a fortune in gold, their relationship has crumbled, but was she behind his murder?

‘Crosbie and Lydia got together on a bet,’ says The Cry star Ewen Leslie, who plays Crosbie. ‘He bet on the spinning wheel and Lydia put herself forward as the prize.’

Anna (Eve Hewson) has been piecing together hazy memories, but we’re a step closer to finding out who really killed Crosbie when we get a glimpse of his final hours this Sunday.

‘Crosbie is a tragic character,’ explains Ewen of the prospector, who appears in flashbacks. ‘He doesn’t realise how much is at stake!’

As Anna tries to make sense of what happened on the night Crosbie died, she and her ‘astral twin’ Emery Staines reunite ahead of next week’s final episode.

But soon after the reunion, another mysterious event takes place, alerting others to their cosmic connection! ‘The story is about greed, revenge, loss and survival,’ explains Ewen. ‘But ultimately, at its heart, it’s a very

beautiful love story.’
