As the week begins, Yasmeen is in turmoil. With abusive husband Geoff having begged for forgiveness and vowed to change, she is in hell. Despite everything, Yasmeen – who’s in jail for stabbing him in self-defence – can’t help wanting to believe his words.
And by the end of the week, stressed Yasmeen has a heart attack…
Extra pressure starts mounting when she’s visited by Elaine, who claims she’s from a women’s charity. She’s there with a message for Yasmeen, who is left in shock. In Elaine’s wake, Yasmeen’s cellmate gives her a book on coercive control.

Meanwhile, in the outside world, radio DJ Geoff has taken to the airwaves to announce he’s ‘forgiven’ Yasmeen and wants to ‘help’ his wife. When Yasmeen calls to say she wants him back, is she serious or is she playing Geoff at his own game?
On the day of the trial, Yasmeen tells Imran about Elaine’s visit. The lawyer reels as she explains how an ex of Geoff’s, Elaine, came to see her and detailed the abuse she suffered during their relationship. But as Imran vows to find her, knowing Elaine could prove to be crucial to the case, Yasmeen falls to the floor in the grip of a heart attack!
