The farmer is stunned when she learns that her business partner has betrayed her.

Since the shocking hit-and-run on Moira Dingle a few weeks back, concerned Cain has barely left her side.

Despite the fact they’re mid-divorce following Moira’s affair with Nate, Cain’s feelings of love and concern for his wife trumped all the bad stuff. He’s even admitted out loud that he still loves her.

Secret deal

All Cain wants is for Moira to make a full recovery and get back to her boys and to Butlers Farm, where she belongs. So he’s been making sure she doesn’t have to cope with any stress on top of what she’s already going through with the currently unsolved incident.

When Cain uncovered the plan the pair had

cooked up – to work together to supply meat to local restaurateur Ricky Travers – he was livid. Vet Rhona reeled as Cain lashed out at

her for colluding with the very man who wrecked his marriage, and for keeping it from unaware Moira.

But Cain’s attempt to shield Moira from the terrible truth goes to pot when Matty lets it slip to his mum! As Moira reels in the face of the betrayal, Cain tries to calm the situation and asks the furious farmer to consider a different plan of attack…
