Saving lives…

It’s been great to see Surgeons: At the Edge of Life back on BBC2. I’m not a medical person, but it shows how tense these complex operations can be for those involved, as time is crucial, and one wrong slip could lead to a life lost. I’d also never even considered the work of the medical technicians who keep all hospital equipment in perfect condition, which is vital to patient safety.

Bethany the brat!

Why has Coronation Street brought Bethany Platt back, only for her to be such an utter brat? She was once a sweet, kind girl who went through a traumatic ordeal when groomed by the evil Nathan Curtis. How she sneaks about and is prepared to dish the dirt on her relatives and neighbours is unwatchable! Stephanie Bates, Surrey

Lost the plot…

I tuned in to Passenger on ITV1 because it featured great actors like Wunmi Mosaku and David Threlfall, but could someone please tell me what the show was all about? And while they’re at it, could they please explain it to the

The Assembly on

BBC1 really was an inspirational part of Autism Acceptance Week. It saw a group of 35 neurodivergent people asking actor Michael Sheen about ‘anything’ before presenting him with some of their own abilities. He answered all their queries, which were astute, funny and sometimes quite personal, with patience and kindness. The group also displayed great

cast? They all looked as bewildered as I was, as it seemed to be nonsense from beginning to end!

Wardrobe woes

I really enjoyed the latest series of BBC1’S Bridge of Lies with Ross Kemp – he was a staple part of my afternoon schedule! The quiz show was such fun to play along with. But

I do think the wardrobe department needed to change some of

Ross’ outfits from time to time, as he seemed to be in the same black

T-shirt and blazer every episode.

Daniel Russell,

Birmingham talent, from pop singing to poetry recitals. It really showed how people’s skills can often go to waste due to a lack of awareness and discrimination. Dennis Meehan, Manchester

An eye-opener!

Netflix’s one-off drama Scoop, starring thelikes of Gillian Anderson, Rufus Sewell, Billie Piper, Keeley Hawes and Romola Garai, was a brilliant behind-the-scenes look at Prince Andrew’s infamous Newsnight interview, in which journalist Emily Maitlisgrilled the royal about his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. It brought to light what was going on behind closed doors, like the work of the booking staff, the inner power struggles at the

BBC and what was happening in Andrew’s personal life. An interesting drama. Teri Anderson, Essex
