Findmypast recently added 1.7 million parish records to its Devon collection makin ng it the biggest online collection for the county. ty. Images have come from Devon South West Heritage Trust’s collection. Findmypast is also working with Plymouth and West Devon Record Office to digitise its parish registers. The compete collection of Devon baptisms, marriages and burials now totals almost six million. Due to the ongoing relationship that Findmypast has with the Federation of Family History Societies, the website also hosts millions of transcriptions by members of the Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset and Cornwall family history societies.
