Run by the Essex Record Office, this has got most of the surviving parish registers of Essex digitised on its website. Subscriptions cost from £5 for one day to £85 for a year. The site isn’t the easiest to use and the registers haven’t been transcribed or indexed so it helps if you locate the details using FamilySearch.org first so you know the parish and date that you are looking for.
