Ancestry is currently working with Lancashire, Manchester and Wigan Archives as well as Liverpool Record Office to digitise not just basic parish records but nonconformist records, BTs and more, making this the major subscription website for this area. The site also has some transcriptions for Cheshire as well as Cumbria.
