Harvard to digitise manorial rolls
Free records dating back to the 13th century are set to go online thanks to a project at Harvard University. Archivists from the US institution have announced they have started digitising the English manor rolls collection, which was originally purchased from a London bookseller in the late-19th century. The collection, which spans 1282-1770, features material from Cheshire, Hampshire, Staffordshire, Suffolk and Sussex. For details about the project, visit bit.ly/1D5KXES.
