Watch out!

Don’t assume that your only research options are the East and West Sussex collections. There are museums such as those at Hastings and Seaford, plus it is always worth checking what the city libraries in Chichester, Worthing, Brighton, Lewes, Eastbourne and Hastings hold. Worthing Library, for example, looks after collections of local newspapers and trade directories.
