Rugby body teams up with CWGC
The governing body for rugby union in England has chosen the Commonwealth War Graves Commission ( CWGC) as its Military Charity Partner for 2017. The year-long deal will see the Rugby Football Union help raise awareness of the CWGC’s work among fans of the sport, while highlighting the contributions that rugby made during both world wars. In total, 27 England international players lost their lives during the First World War alone. Find out more at bit.ly/ CWGCrugby.
