Site’s parish record coverage expands

Parish records from three English counties have been published on thegenealogist.co.uk for the first time. Covering Cumbria, Essex and Norfolk, the website’s latest release includes details of more than 282,000 individuals mentioned in baptism, marriage and burial registers dating back to 1672. Each of the entries has been created by volunteers from ukindexer.co.uk, which gives researchers the chance to earn credits on TheGenealogist in return for transcribing historic records.
