There are a number of third-party tools that you can use with your raw autosomal DNA data. Most of the tools are free, but some sites offer extra features for a small subscription. GEDMATCH
www.gedmatch.com A free service that allows you to search for matches with people who have tested with other companies. Currently over 300,000 people have added their results to the database. GEDmatch has a chromosome browser and a variety of tools to help with the analysis of autosomal DNA data which are particularly useful for people who have tested at AncestryDNA. GEDmatch also provides many useful features including a selection of admixture calculators, an eye colour predictor, a GEDCOM comparison utility and a tool to see if your parents are related. dnagedcom.com This website provides free tools for comparing matches and GEDCOM files. A particular favourite is the Autosomal DNA Segment Analyser that allows you to see a visual representation of your matches on a chromosome by chromosome basis. DNA.LAND
dna.land A free service provided by scientists at the New York Genome Center. DNA.Land offers a matching service, trait reports and a biogeographical ancestry analysis. By contributing your data to DNA.Land you can make it available to the scientists for their research. Over 40,000 people have uploaded their data to DNA.Land. PROMETHEASE
promethease.com Provides health reports based on the currently available scientific literature for a small fee of $5. GENOMEMATE
genomemate.org A tool for handling autosomal DNA from multiple companies. It has a steep learning curve but many dedicated users.
