Findmypast’s collection draws on partnerships with societies and archives. The Yorkshire Digitisation Consortium includes the Borthwick Institute of Archives, Doncaster Archives, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and many more. It launched in 2014 and in May 2016 more than 5.4 million records were added, bringing the total to 10.5 million. These include 4.6 million baptisms in Anglican parishes across the three historic Yorkshire counties, as well as records from Catholic and nonconformist parishes.
