Born Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie in 1948, Scottish singer Lulu has led a successful musical career spanning five decades. Rising to fame thanks to her 1964 single Shout, she was awarded an OBE in 2000 and performed at the closing ceremony of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014.

A passionate mental health campaigner, Ruby recently gained a master’s degree in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy from Oxford University.
