Ev­ery pic­ture tells a story, so why not share your fam­ily memories by at­tach­ing au­dio record­ings to your photos, giv­ing oth­ers valu­able insights into what’s go­ing on and who’s fea­tured in each?

Sto­ry­glory is an on­line ser­vice that gives you all the tools you need to do so. You can sign up, free of charge, and then you will be able to up­load photos and cre­ate and at­tach memories and de­tails in the form of mul­ti­ple voice record­ings. You can then share these ‘movies’ over the web with in­vited fam­ily and friends, breath­ing new life into your ar­chive of pre­cious pho­to­graphs.

The ser­vice only works on Ap­ple mo­bile de­vices. Start by open­ing the App Store and search for Sto­ry­glory. Tap the ‘Get’ but­ton next to down­load and in­stall it on your iPhone or iPad. Once com­plete, tap ‘Open’.

First, cre­ate an ac­count by en­ter­ing your email ad­dress and tap­ping ‘Next’ fol­lowed by ‘Send’. Switch to your iPhone’s mail app, lo­cate the email from Sto­ry­glory and tap the ‘Cre­ate my pass­word’ link you’ll find in it – this con­firms your ad­dress and whisks you back to the Sto­ry­glory app where you’ll be prompted to set up a pass­word. You can skip this, but we rec­om­mend for se­cu­rity rea­sons you pro­vide a strong one. Tap ‘Set’ when done and you’re ready to go. The step-bystep guide re­veals all you need to know.
