Who Do You Think You Are? Magazine - - ON THE RECORD -

Re­searchers are try­ing to find out more about the lives of the men from the vil­lage of Dun­ster in Som­er­set who were killed in the First World War, in­clud­ing the 22 listed on the vil­lage’s war me­mo­rial, those who are named on in­di­vid­ual plaques in St Ge­orge’s Church and those buried in Dun­ster ceme­tery.

The men named on the me­mo­rial are: Ron­ald James Ewart Black­well, Frank D’Arcy Blofeld, Alan Bryant, Regi­nald Garfield Bur­rough, Mau­rice Wil­liam Clat­wor­thy, Ed­win Court, Ru­pert Ed­munds, Ge­orge Fyfe, Thomas Greenslade, Arthur Green­way, Joseph Jen­nings, Les­lie Knowles, Alan Ladd, Her­bert Mo­gridge, Charles Ge­orge Mor­ris, Sid­ney James Norman, Wil­liam Fred­er­ick Thomas Piddington, Henry Pat­te­son Strong, John Thomas, Robert Web­ber, Robert Charles Web­ber and Richard Wed­lake.
