BFI bit.ly/ india1899, free To mark the 70th anniversary of Indian independence, the British Film Institute has digitised its collection of 109 historic films of India under the British Empire, including a sword dance performed for the King and Queen in 1912, a Punjab village in 1925, and newsreel footage of Mahatma Gandhi in 1947.
