The library holds the main local-studies collection for Herefordsh­ire (there are also reference-only collection­s available at the libraries in Leominster and Ross-on-Wye). Although Covid-19 has curtailed many library services, lots of historic local newspapers, photograph­s and old maps held here are now available online at the Herefordsh­ire History website ( herefordsh­irehistory.org.uk).
