The library holds the main local-studies collection for Herefordshire (there are also reference-only collections available at the libraries in Leominster and Ross-on-Wye). Although Covid-19 has curtailed many library services, lots of historic local newspapers, photographs and old maps held here are now available online at the Herefordshire History website ( herefordshirehistory.org.uk).
