Santos mauled by Wargrave’s wolf pack

Maidenhead B&G FC u18s Santos were mauled 10-1 away to Wargrave’s Wolves this weekend. The u16s side were also heavily beaten, losing 5-0 away to Purley Jubilee Blues in EBFA Division 4.

Justin Duffy scored to secure the u15s their first point of the season in a 11 draw at home to Sandhurst Town Reds in Division 6.

The u14s Sharks played out a 3-3 draw at home to Windsor Youth Merlins Hawks in Division 8 while the u13s Dolphins were beaten 4-0 at home by Woodley Wanderers & Youth Tigers in Section C. In Section G there was a 7-3 away win for the u13s at Ascot United Chargers.

The u13s Panthers picked up another big win as they beat Pinewood Predators 13-0 at home in Section G. Great defensive work ensured their goal wasn’t threatened once.

They were expertly marshalled by Will Howarth, who thoroughly deserved his player of the match award, while the goals were scored by Harry James (four), Rowan Sellman (two), Senna Anagho (two), Callum Neeson-Roberts (two), Harry McGill (penalty) and two own goals from Rowan crosses.

The u12s Jaguars won their first game in Division 2 after a 3-1 victory over Purley Jubilee

Lions.

The u12s Girls side lost a friendly with the club’s u13s team while the u15s Girls side overcame a depleted u18s Girls team with only 10 players in another friendly.
