Hatton misses Masters cut on three over par
Tyrrell Hatton’s fine form of 2020 was brought to an abrupt halt as he missed the cut at last week’s Masters at Augusta.
Having tied from seventh at the Houston Open the previous weekend and won two significant events by lifting the BMW PGA Championships at Wentworth and the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Hatton flew into Augusta as one of the favourites to do well.
However, the Marlow golfer’s form at the majors this season has left a lot to be desired. He missed the cut at the US Open and PGA Championships and once again failed to find his best form at Augusta. He had hoped to improve on finishing 44th a few years ago, but instead he missed the cut, finishing on three over par.
