Plans for a third runway at Heathrow Airport could be set for lift off after the Supreme Court overturned a ruling blocking the development. Slough Borough Council described the decision as ‘positive news for the whole of the UK’ while the leader of the Royal Borough said the council will no longer fund a legal challenge against the plans.
