Online help for mental health issues

-

ALL AREAS: Those who are struggling with mental health during lockdown have been urged to seek help by the NHS East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

East Berkshire CCG has shared out material online to help people know where to go and who to call when they are feeling mentally unwell.

It has shared a link to the NHS Every Mind Matters site, which gives advice on how to deal with loneliness, mental wellbeing tips and how to look after the mental health of children.

If the online resource does not help, the service advises you should call NHS 111. If you have injured yourself, taken an overdoes or are in an emergency and think your life could be at risk, call 999.

You can also text Shout 85258 for a free, confidential 24/7 text message support service.

Online help can be found at www.nhs.uk/oneyou/every-mind-matters/ and a list of mental health services in the area can be found at www.fhft.nhs.uk/services/mental-health/
