Bonkle Parish Church Morning service, Sunday school and creche will be held in the church on Sunday at noon. Any pastoral matters should be directed to the minister. The church has a new website at www.bonkle. org.uk for details of upcoming events. Keep May informed of any changes to normal activities. Computer club meets in the church hall every Monday at 10am to 11.30am, 1pm to 2.30pm and 2.30pm to 4pm. The club will close for its summer break on June 27 and reopen on August 15. For details speak to Ian Glen. The badminton group is on its summer break and will resume in September. Charity shop at Manse Road is open Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Arts club meets in the big hall on Tuesday evenings at 7pm to 9.30pm and costs £2.50 each evening. New members are welcome. Foodbank The foodbank is open on Wednesdays from 1pm to 2.30pm. Men’s and ladies club The club will leave Bonkle Church for their summer outing to Dunoon on June 15. The Thursday club meet each Thursday afternoon at 2pm and will close for their summer break on June 23, starting back on September 1. Coltness Choir The choir meet in Coltness Memorial Church on Thursday evening at 8pm. New members welcome. Arts day Coltness Memorial Church are holding an arts and crafts display from Wednesday to Saturday, June 8-11, featuring crafts including painting, needlework, photograph­y, woodwork and much more. Opening times are 10am to 9pm (Saturday 10am to 1pm). The proceeds from this event will be donated to the Prostate Cancer charity. There will be a coffee bar, home bakes and light lunch available; entrance £1. Gala day The committee are hoping to provide a gazebo in the park on the gala day on Saturday, June 11, from noon to 4pm to promote what the two churches have to offer the community. Volunteers from both churches are needed to set up, man and dismantle the tent. A meeting will be organised when enough names have been provided. Sing and Sizzle A Sing and Sizzle event will be held in Cambusneth­an Old and Morningsid­e Church on Sunday, June 12, at 3pm. Coltness Guild outing There are tickets remaining for the Guild trip to the Clyde coast on June 15, with high tea at the Willowbank Hotel, Largs, and morning coffee at a garden centre. The cost of the trip will be £25 and this can be paid in full or by instalment­s to Jean Gardner. Anyone interested should give their name to Margaret Murdoch at the church. Praise evening A praise night with Esther Franklin will take place in Bonkle Church on Thursday, June 16, at 7.30pm.

Orange Halls Auld Boys Craigneuk Flute Band will practice in the hall on Sunday at 6.30pm. New members welcome. Prize bingo is held on Monday nights, eyes down 7.30pm. On Tuesday Craigneuk True Defenders Flute Band practice at 7.30pm. Craigneuk Lifelong Learning Associatio­n The group hold CV workshops and IT for Work sessions to help with CVs, job searches, emails, etc. These workshops run in the centre at 641A Glasgow Road on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Tai Chi course runs on Monday afternoons
