It was a great experience for all despite the terrible weather conditions. Theatre Trip

Last Thursday, 23 Higher/Advanced Higher students visited Cumbernauld Theatre to participate in an all- day Production Skills Workshop based on Anton Chekhov’s play, Three Sisters. Students were given the opportunity to work in small groups on the lighting, sound, costume, make-up, acting and directing for a scene from the play.

The final scene was performed on stage with all production elements in place.

The students then participated in an acting workshop with some of the professional actors in the actual production.

In the evening, they watched a performance of Three Sisters, then took part in a Q and A session with the actors. School Show Final preparations are well underway for the first school show to be held in our new school assembly hall.
