Concert The friendship group’s recent concert by the group Studio 32 was a resounding success with all the singers in good voice and the ladies of The Steamie were a great hit, with the superb supply of home baking enjoyed by everyone who attended. The concert raised a good sum to help provide more pew cushions for the church and this latest venture has helped the group to get nearer to their target of replacing all the cushions in the church. Thanks are extended to the performers of Studio 32 and everyone who provided home baking and all those who helped on the evening or turned out. The women’s group are holding their enrolment night on Wednesday, September 28, at 7.30pm with the first speaker evening taking place on October 5, both events will be held in the small church hall. Everyone is welcome to come along. Sewing Bee club will resume in the small church hall on Monday, October 3, at 7pm.
