Makeover plans to tidy up a corner by town health centre
North Lanarkshire Council has drawn up plans to enhance the corner of Windmillhill Street / Camp Street by Motherwell Health Centre.
The project has been developed from the ‘ Motherwell Charrette’ public consultation event, which was held last year.
Councillor Paul Kelly, Depute Leader of North Lanarkshire Council, said: “The aim is to provide a more welcoming and attractive space for the many people who use the area and the health centre.
“The plans look impressive and will go a long way to improving the appearance of the town Windmillhill Street as a main route through the town centre.”
The proposal can be viewed on line at www. northlanarkshire. gov. uk/ motherwell and at Motherwell Library from October 22-31.
