Venue hosts amazing wedding reception
The NCT Centre hosted its first wedding when Clare and Danny Cullen held their reception there last month.
Clare and Danny were married in St Ignatius Church but had booked their wedding reception within the first few weeks of the centre opening.
Guests were greeted with either a bucks fizz or orange juice and the cafe area was turned into a lounge area with comfortable seating and tables for the guests to mingle before heading in for their meal.
NCT centre manager Lynn Sirrell said: “The bride and groom were a pleasure to deal with throughout and really brought their vision of their wedding to life in the centre.
“The library staff did a great job of providing a quirky setting for photographs - my personal favourite being “how to kill your husband and other handy household hints”.
“A big thank you to my team at the centre who working tirelessly not only on the day but on the days and weeks leading up to the wedding to make sure that everything was perfect on the day. I also need to thank the volunteers who came and gave their time freely to waitress, bar tend, move furniture and clear up.
“Without the support and help from the local community we could not offer the serve that we do.
“The wedding was a great success and we already have another booking for 2018.
“Hopefully it is the first of many.”
