Blooming lovely way to get over health issues

NHS Lanarkshir­e has won an award for offering people with mental health issues the chance to bloom in confidence by tending flowers at local railway stations.

Where they met The couple met at the Horseshoe Bar, Motherwell, on a Halloween night a few years back. The wedding ceremony The wedding was held at the Civic Centre, Motherwell on June 10, 2016. The reception was at Chatelhera­ult Inn in Ferniegair, and was attended by many family and friends. enterprise Clydesdale Community Initiative­s (CCI), scooped the prize for Outstandin­g Teamwork at the Community Rail Awards.

The initiative sees people who are supported by mental health occupation­al therapists volunteeri­ng to brighten up five stations - Wishaw, Coatbridge Central, Coatbridge Sunnyside, Hamilton West and Whifflet.

“This is a landscapin­g organisati­on which aims to empower people facing significan­t barriers to social inclusion and employment due to their learning disability, mental health issue or other challenges.
