Dalziel St Andrew’s Parish Church Morning worship will take place in the church as usual this Sunday, January 1, at 11am. All are welcome. The service will be streamed live on the internet at dalzielsta­ndrews.org. uk and is available for catch-up on You Tube. For both the service within the sanctuary and online, the assistance of a signer and an electronic note taker will be included to help the deaf or hard of hearing. All organisati­ons will resume after the festive break, with plans now being made for the first Messy Church event of the new year. This will focus on young families and will be held on Sunday, January 15, starting at 3.30pm with refreshmen­ts, lots of fun and activities, concluding with a meal served at 5pm. There is no charge for attendance. Anyone intending to attend this event should register on the website to assist with the preparatio­n of materials and meal arrangemen­ts. Beltane Bowling Club lounge will be open Friday night, as normal. There will be a Hogmanay party, featuring singer Joanne Bence on Saturday, December 31. The lounge will be open as normal during the day on Monday, January 2, and the next monthly dance will be held on Saturday, February 3. South Wishaw Parish Church There is no Wednesday Noon Service this week. New Year’s Day Service on Sunday at 11am. Saturday Cafeteria has stopped for holiday break but resumes on January 7 with Team E on duty. Tickets for the pantomime are now on sale. All Hall users are reminded that it will not be available from Monday, January 9, until Saturday January, January 14, because of pantomime rehearsals. Should those concerned require to use other facilities that may be available they should contact the Session Clerk prior to January 7.
