Fans fury over Caley tickets

-

Motherwell fans expressed anger over a ticket deal for tonight’s (Wednesday) clash with Inverness — which was only available to the home side.

Inverness tweeted on Boxing Day that they would be running a four for £40 deal which would see a saving of almost £50.

However, the deal is only available to Caley Thistle fans in the Main Stand and four Motherwell fans will have to fork out £88 for Wednesday’s 7.45pm kick-off.

Twitter page @MFCPodcast 86 said: “Four tickets in the home end £40. Four in the away £88! @ICTFC getting in the festive spirit!”

Graham Barnstaple added:“That’s a disgrace! Let’s not encourage people of both clubs to turn up!”

Kenny Ward (@kenny_ward10) said: “Absolutely disgusting ICTFC! If offering it to home, should to away as well especially this time of year #dontgowellfans.”

Fans page Pie and Bovril (@pieandbov) said:“Pet hate of mine is clubs offering ticket incentives to home fans only.

“If there is an offer on, should extend it to away fans as well, in my opinion.”

However, on Monday night, Inverness’ official Twitter page revealed they would be forwarding the complaints on in a bid to get the prices altered.

@ICTFC said:“I can only give same info as online. T&Cs of offer is for our Main Stand only, we don’t house away fans in Main Stand.

“I pass on reports for all feedback we receive and this will be included.”
