Art attack at Orchard Primary

-

Students at Orchard Primary School showed their creative side at an art showcase in their school.

Teacher Linzi Bowden worked with pupils from three stages of the school to put together paintings to show their love for friends and family.

The theme of the project was nurture.

Many of the pupils drew paintings inspired by their relationship with their parents, whilst others chose to dedicate their paintings to their friends

The project was put together after the Voluntary Action Fund made a generous donation to the school on behalf of the American Mothers Inc.

Pupil Jodi Cullen said :“My painting was about my mum because she is always there for me when I am upset. I used her favourite colour blue to make it extra special.”

Five art students from Clyde Valley High chose two winners who will travel to an art showcase in Edinburgh.
