Sex crimes in Wishaw rocketed by 107 per cent in the last year, shock new figures revealed.
A special investigation by the Wishaw Press showed that crimes of indecency across the town reported to police more than doubled last year.
A total of 29 crimes of a sexual nature were reported last year compared to 14 in 2014.
