Law and Carluke to clash in final

Law and Carluke will meet in the final of the Lanarkshire Indoor Bowling Cup tomorrow (Thursday).

The two sides will clash at Cambusnethan after the original host venue of Newmains had to be switched due to maintenance work going on in the hall.

Law secured their place in the final with a first round win over Castlehill before beating Lanarkshire Indoor Bowling League champions Newmains in the semi-final.

Carluke made the last two by beating St Patrick’s and then Cambusnethan last week.

As the indoor season draws to a close, the other champions from the Lanarkshire Indoor Bowling League are as follows:

Joyce Brand – Ladies National Singles Champion, Maureen Stark runner-up.

Ella Prosser (skip ) and Marion MacNally – Senior Pairs winners.

Joyce Brand and Maureen Stark – Ladies Two Pairs final, Fiona Kerr and Sheila Walker runners-up.
