2 7 - y e a r- old Emma, o f Kennilworth Avenue, claimed the prestigious title in Lancashire last February.
Since she was crowned Emma has travelled to Orlando to take part in the Miss Galaxy International Pageant, raised thousands of pounds for charity, and inspired hundreds of other girls to take part in the competition.
Former Coltness High pupil Emma was also crowned second runner- up at the International Galaxy final last August.
Competing against 16 other women in her category, Emma said it was a nerve-wracking experience.
The competition consisted of four different rounds interview, a fashion wear round allowing contestants to choose an outfit that represents their personality, bikini and evening gown contests.
She added: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued love and support over the last 12 months.
“My dress sponsor Black Noir has been amazing and gave me dresses all year.
“I couldn’t have kept up with it all without them.
“I’d also like to personally thank my family and my boyfriend Mick for their love and support.
“It means the world to me.”
