Tower incident

A Motherwell man admitted behaving in a threatening manner at a tower block in the town.

Steven Wright appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week for sentencing having pleaded guilty in March to repeatedly shouting, swearing, making sexually offensive remarks and uttered threats of violence.

The offence took place in Muirhouse Tower and en route to Motherwell Police Office on November 26 last year.

In court last week, sentence was further deferred on Wright, of Coursington Tower, until October 20 for good behaviour.
