Struthers Parish Church is holding an outreach and supper evening in the NCT Centre, Newmains, on Wednesday of this week, at 7.30pm. All welcome.

Bonkle

Bonkle Parish Church service, Sunday school and creche will be held in the church this Sunday, at 12 noon. Speak to the minister if you know of anyone requiring a pastoral visit. Computer classes are held in the church hall on Mondays at 10am to 11.30am, 1pm to 2.30pm and 2.30pm to 4pm, and badminton is held in the big hall from 7.30pm to 9pm. All are welcome to come along and join in. Charity shop at Manse Road, Newmains is open Monday to Thursday, from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Arts and crafts class meets in the church hall on Tuesdays, at 7pm. Come along and join in where you will be made most welcome. Food bank thanks everyone for their continued support and is open on Wednesday afternoons at 1pm. Men’s and ladies group meets in the church hall on Wednesdays, at 7pm, and the Thursday Club meets on Thursday afternoons at 2pm. Coltness Choir meets in Coltness Memorial Church on Thursday evenings, at 8pm. Congregational Board will meet at the church on Monday, May 1, at 7pm followed by the kirk session meeting at 8pm. Coltness Guild trip to Helensburgh via Antartex Shopping Village will leave Coltness Memorial Church on Wednesday, June 21. The cost of the outing will be £20 including high tea. Anyone who would like to attend, should give their name to Jen Lithgow, Jean Gardner or any Guild member. Giving for Growth gathering will be held in the large hall of Bonkle church on Thursday, May 11, at 7pm. The team have worked hard to produce an interesting and informative evening. All are welcome to come and join them to see the fruits of their labours.
