Fracking meeting

Residents in Shotts are being urged to go along to a public meeting about fracking on Thursday.

The pros and cons about fracking will be discussed at the event held in Springhill Community Centre.

Anyone interested in the debate is urged to attend from 7pm till 9.30pm.

On January 31, the Scottitsh Government began a fourmonth moratorium and public consultation on fracking.

The consultation is being supported by Shotts Community Council and will be independently facilitated on their behalf by the Community Chattering Network.
