Allanton

Allanton Parish Church service, Discovery club and creche will be held in the church on Sunday at 12.30pm. Mother and toddlers group meets in the church hall on Tuesday mornings at 9.30am and the Women’s Guild meets in the annex at 2pm. Come along and join in. Karate class is held in the church hall on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. Street dance classes are held in the church hall on Thursday evenings at 6pm to 7pm and from 7pm to 8pm. Youth group meets in the Senior Citizens Centre on Friday evenings, from 7pm to 9pm. Miners’ Club Entertainment for members and friends begins in the club this week with a Scottish ceilidh dance class on Wednesday, a double session of bingo, play your cards right and raffle on Thursday, country night with Western Rhythm, bingo, play your cards right and raffle on Saturday, and dancing to Bill McFarlane, bingo, play your cards right, raffle and tote double on Sunday.
