All the fun from the big day
Hundreds of people turned out for Shotts Gala Day on Saturday.
The big day kicked off when all the floats, decorated vehicles and people in fancy dress met at Foundry Road at 10am.
The parade left at 11.30am and proceeded via Burnbrae Road, Main Street, Springhill Road and Tulloch Road to the park.
The crowning ceremony was held at 1pm.
All children from Shotts were given a bag of goodies to mark the event.
A spokesman for the gala day said: “The standard of all the houses decorated this year was fantastic
“Judges sure did have their work cut out.
“We would like to thank everyone who decorated their house.”
