Miss­ing Robert found

A Mother­well man re­ported miss­ing last week has been found safe and well.

Robert Mac­Gre­gor was last seen at his home in Carfin Street at around 4pm on Tues­day, June 20,.

He got into his car, a white Mercedes, CLA 180 and drove off. When he didn’t re­turn later that evening, his fam­ily re­ported him miss­ing.

Robert is de­scribed as white, around 6ft2 with a medium to heavy build and short black hair. He was wear­ing a white shirt with jeans and was driv­ing a white Mercedes CLA 180 car, reg­is­tra­tion num­ber PX17 LDO. Ex­ten­sive in­quiries were un­der­way with of­fi­cers checking and re­view­ing CCTV footage.

Be­fore Robert was found, Inspector Alan Dron said: “Robert is known to fre­quent nu­mer­ous ar­eas through­out North La­nark­shire and of­fi­cers are car­ry­ing out in­quiries and searches in the lo­cal and sur­round­ing ar­eas to trace him. Robert has re­cently been deal­ing with some per­sonal is­sues, re­sult­ing in his fam­ily be­com­ing in­creas­ingly con­cerned for his well-be­ing.

“If any­one has seen Robert or his car, please con­tact us as soon as pos­si­ble.”

Po­lice said on Mon­day that Robert had been found safe and well.
