Missing Robert found

A Motherwell man reported missing last week has been found safe and well.

Robert MacGregor was last seen at his home in Carfin Street at around 4pm on Tuesday, June 20,.

He got into his car, a white Mercedes, CLA 180 and drove off. When he didn’t return later that evening, his family reported him missing.

Robert is described as white, around 6ft2 with a medium to heavy build and short black hair. He was wearing a white shirt with jeans and was driving a white Mercedes CLA 180 car, registration number PX17 LDO. Extensive inquiries were underway with officers checking and reviewing CCTV footage.

Before Robert was found, Inspector Alan Dron said: “Robert is known to frequent numerous areas throughout North Lanarkshire and officers are carrying out inquiries and searches in the local and surrounding areas to trace him. Robert has recently been dealing with some personal issues, resulting in his family becoming increasingly concerned for his well-being.

“If anyone has seen Robert or his car, please contact us as soon as possible.”

Police said on Monday that Robert had been found safe and well.
