Banfordrink-driver three times limit
A Motherwell man who was caught drink-driving has been banned for at least nine months.
Richard Kiss, of Juno Street, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle whilst being more than three times over the limit.
The 44-year-old was stopped at Dinmont Crescent with 79 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres with the legal limit being 22.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court last week, Kiss – who is originally from Hungary – was handed a 12-month ban and told by his interpreter that the ban would be decreased to nine months if he attended a driving course.
