Well start signings

A terrified mum called for the closure of M&D’s theme park after her three-year-old son cheated death when the Tsunami rollercoaster missed him by inches.

Angry Amy Thomas told how little Dylan is lucky to be alive after the ride came crashing down two feet away from the toddler who was playing on a small motorbike at the children’s fairground.

Amy said:“Dylan was on the motorbike and a wee girl bumped into him. If she hadn’t done that I don’t know if Dylan would still be here.” Motherwell started a summer of signings this week after announcing four new faces in five days.

Jacob Blyth, Ben Heneghan, Richard Tait and Dean Brill all put pen to paper as Well boss Mark McGhee said:“We’ve got other areas of the park we’re looking to strengthen, and will continue trying to nail our top targets.”

Elsewhere, Motherwell duo Jonathan Paterson and Martin Hickman were selected for the Paralympic Games in Rio.
