Harvey pleaded not guilty to all charges he faces when he appeared in the dock at the High Court in Glasgow on Friday.

He is also accused of assaulting prison officer James Muncie when he was “in lawful custody” at the ultrasound department of the hospital on the same day.

Prosecutors claim that he tried to detain Mr Muncie against his will in a toilet and did “present at him a piece of plastic with a razor attached”.
