Cambusnethan Old and Morningside Parish Church services on Sundays, July 23 and 30 and August 6, will be held in Cambusnethan North Church. Please note all these services will start at 10.30am. All are welcome to join with members of the congregation at any of the above services. The 1st Cambusnethan Girls’ Brigade Company will be celebrating their centenary year with an afternoon tea held at Dalziel Park Hotel on Sunday, October 29. Tickets for this event cost £15, and these are available from any officers of the Company. Work continues on the church sanctuary, and further reports will be published in the next edition of the church magazine. Cambusnethan Club Entertainment for members and friends begins with social dancing in the concert hall plus cash bingo on Thursday, and cabaret and dancing plus bingo on Friday. Saturday sees a cabaret and dancing in the concert hall with top vocalists John Shephard and Sapphire. Bingo, snowball of £150 and treasure chest of £150. There is dancing to Johnny Weir plus bingo on Monday and Slimming World class on Tuesdays at 7pm. Pre-show meals are available to book for parties on Saturdays, phone Robin on 07799000765.
