Let off scot-free for assaulting woman

A Wishaw man has walked free from court despite admitting an assault against a woman.

Peter Ruzinsky appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week having already admitted assaulting Stepanka Petricakovs at a flat in Birkshaw Brae, Gowkthrapple, on November 26 last year.

During the course of the incident, 49-year-old Ruzinsky pushed his victim on the head.

In court last week, Ruzinsky, of Heathfield, was admonished and he was free to leave the dock.
