Fire accused is no-show at court

A warrant has been issued for a woman accused of setting fire to a Pather house.

Nicole McLean, 22, failed to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday, August 25.

Her solicitor told Sheriff Vincent Smith he had knew of no reason as to why his client had not appeared.

The 22-year-old is accused of setting fire to a quantity of carpet at Rannoch Drive which then took effect and destroyed carpets placing nearby residents at immediate risk.
