Man arrested on alleged assault

A 25-year-old man from Motherwell was arrested for allegedly assaulting a person at a tower block in the Muirhouse area.

The incident allegedly happened at around 10pm on Wednesday, August 16, at Woodside Tower in Woodside Street .

The man was detained in custody pending his appearance at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal .
