Keen golfers from the Waverley Bar in Wishaw Main Street swapped the pub for their clubs as they took part in a new competition.

Edy McCabe was the inaugural winner of the Waverley Open, taking the honours by one shot from nearest rival Robert McKechnie in the event.

The organisers extended their thanks to bar owner George Hopkins for his donations.
