Orlando Bloom should stick to plundering the high seas in the Pirates franchise as his tattooed burglar is one of the worst things about this wonky Bourne Identity wannabe.

It has to go down as another ropey English language turn from original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Noomi Rapace, too with the Swede failing to convince as a CIA operative.

Helmer Michael Apted does film some decent action sequences, though, making the most of his tight locations.

But debut writer Peter O’Brien seems to think the best way to grab an audience is to leave them scratching their heads with an overabundance of twists, reveals and energy sapping loyalty shifts.
