He said: “We lost a poor goal early on Saturday and didn’t play well at all in the first half.
“But second half we came out and played a lot better, dominated the game, created so many chances but just couldn’t take them.
“At the end of the match they get a penalty to make it 2-0 which kills the game off.
“It was disappointing and I don’t like losing but we certainly had enough positives to take into the game.
“We have plenty to work on and we’ve highlighted a few areas to improve on but the signs are good.
“We won’t get worried by it at all because we know we are capable of beating any side on our day.
“We just can’t afford a first half like we had on Saturday.”
The Bens raced into a lead 19 minutes in when McCrone neatly played the ball across goal to O’Hear who slotted past Sandy Thomson.
Wishaw pushed hard for an equaliser in the second half but it all over when Kieran Blackwood was bundled over in the box by Craig Crawford.
McCrone blasted the penalty past Thomson to seal the points and Brogan believes his side will bounce back in fine form this Saturday against Thorniewood United.
United sit fourth bottom with one point from three games but Brogan said: “I watched Thorniewood against Blantyre Vics and we certainly won’t be taking them lightly.
“They set up well and they are a good side but we know that we have the players capable of beating them.
“But we have to go out there and prove it and put in a good response to last week.
“We didn’t take our chances but I’m confident if we play at our best and convert some of them we can win the game.”
